Bianca Alexis Beeman was born in Staten Island, New York and raised in Connecticut. She currently lives in Brooklyn, NY where she attended Pratt Institute School of Art and Design. Upon completing her BFA in photography, she began her career training under Jesse Shadoan, David Harry Stewart, and Sarah Merians.

    "When I tell a story I can never tell just the beginning, middle, or end. Instead I concentrate on details in between. I may not be the best storyteller, but I'd rather people focus on specifics than the whole. In my photography I try to do just that; having the viewer concentrate on details instead of the typical. Without details, there would be no story to begin with."
